TARO’s mission
To bring about awareness, encourage and influence society to participate actively in poverty alleviation through arts and culture
 

TARO’s objectives
To achieve its mission and vision, TARO has the following objectives:-

1. To empower society to participate actively in poverty alleviation    through arts and Culture

2. To promote the protection of artists’ rights and interests in relation to their artistic works

3. To raise awareness of the laws governing artistic works in Tanzania

4. To promote the development of arts and Culture

5. To promote the use of arts and Culture to uphold democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and good governance
